9. Ant-Man Should Have Introduced The Wasp
Ant-Man is one of those rare movies to openly comment on of its most glaring problem; in the story Hope van Dyne is better equipped to pull off the central heist, as well-being a better communicator with the ants and a trained fighter. Yet she's forced to help train Scott Lang to do the job instead, because her father refuses to let her wear the suit for personal reasons. Maybe Marvel anticipated those complaints ahead of time and wanted people to realise they already knew the logic was shaky, but as shes one of the stronger female characters to appear in one of their films for some time she could still have made an appearance as Wasp. The potential was there heck, Wasp is confirmed to appear in the sequel yet she never gets to suit up for what feel like contrived reasons storywise. This is a real shame, as a surprise appearance by the character in the final showdown with Cross could have given the finale the extra boost it needed.
