8. Cut Down On The Magical MacGuffins
The Tesseract. The Mind Stone. The Aether and The Orb. They might go by different names but they all serve the same function; the magical thing the villains need for their evil scheme. This plot device has been abused way too much, and it always ends the same way; the villain gets it and is eventually destroyed by its awesome power, with the next baddie refusing to learn the lesson of their predecessors. The sameness of this isnt going away anytime soon either, with Infinity Wars doubling-down to feature all six MacGuffins collected together by Thanos to create cosmic destruction. No spoilers, but they might end up destroying him somehow. Iron Man 3 and The Winter Soldier managed to avoid going down the Infinity Stone route, and were all the more refreshing for it. Hopefully Marvel have listened to people's complaints about the Magic MacGuffin problem, as it's getting to the point where they might need an intervention.
