10 Spider-Man Villains Sony Should Keep (& 10 They Should Lend To The MCU)

8. GIVE UP: Rhino

The Rhino
Marvel Comics

A popular character, sure, but far from anyone's favorite, Sony should let the MCU take a stab at painting the character in more than two dimensions.

Aleksei Sytsevich is regularly portrayed as an unintelligent petty thug whose tempter and recklessness usually lead to his downfall.

While he doesn't need to be the primary antagonist of a film, the Rhino deserves more than the typical strong-yet-stupid-henchman tag that he usually is pegged with.

Rhino is treated as a tool, not unlike the Hulk or the Thing. Whether or not he reforms, he should break free from whichever "more intelligent" villain he works with and try to convince other heroes who may feel the same way to regain their dignity by walking away.

To watch a heavy-hitting villain simply throw his hands up and walk into the sunset would allow the MCU to break their formulaic storytelling up. It also leaves the viewer wondering when — and where — the Rhino may pop up next.
