10 Spider-Man Villains Sony Should Keep (& 10 They Should Lend To The MCU)

5. KEEP: Jackal

Spider-Man Jackal
Marvel Comics

Miles Warren, a professor at ESU who experiments with genetics, has a psychological breakdown when his student Gwen Stacy is killed by the Green Goblin. Blaming Spider-Man, he becomes the Jackal and seeks revenge.

You can’t mention the Jackal without bringing up cloning in the same breath. Not only did he successfully clone Gwen Stacy, but he also created clones of Spider-Man including Kaine and Ben Reilly.

Do we need to see The Clone Saga played out on-screen? If so, it shouldn’t happen in the MCU. The tale is too convoluted to slip into such an already extensive storyline — but it could work in Sony’s newer world.

This may also be a way to keep Tom Holland heavily involved in Sony films. He could portray any Spider-Man clone, acting as Sony’s primary Spider-Man, while restricting the real Peter Parker to the MCU.
