6. Hocus Pocus (1993)
Unlike 1990's The Witches Hocus Pocus is far more family friendly as three bumbling witches find themselves transported to modern day Salem and begin plotting to kill the town's children by enchanting them with song and forcing them to dance until they die. It's a simple idea but Hocus Pocus is a charming comedy from Disney that will have your kids laughing way more than it will have them cowering behind the sofa. Casting Omri Katz in the role as the hero was a wise choice given his popularity in the TV series Eerie, Indiana around the same time and hats off to whoever bagged Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the evil Sanderson sisters. If only Sarah Jessica Parker was as hot today as she was in 1993. What happened SJP?
