10 Star Trek ‘Special Movie Events’ The Fans Want To See

2. The Epic Of Kahless And The Lady Lukara

This could quite possibly be the greatest love story that Star Trek has ever told - and that includes Kirk and the Enterprise.

Kahless and the Lady Lukara stood against five hundred of the tyrant Molor's forces in the Temple of Qam-Chee, defeating them all, and finishing the night by jumping on each other like a couple of crazed voles.

They were then later married, though moments after the ceremony was complete, they were again attacked, with Molor's forces nearly killing them.

These are just two stories of many that would make for an epic Long Trek. The effect of Kahless and the Lady Lukara was still felt over a thousand years later. Though they themselves were low born, their line would always have a place with the greatest of Klingon Kings and Warriors, right through to the time of the Dahar Master, Kor.

The real Kahless promised his followers that he would return, and though versions of the man have appeared in the franchise, Kahless the Unforgettable has yet to make good on that promise. We think it's about bloody time he did - as long as the Lady Lukara comes with him!
