10 Stars Who Featured In Horror Movies Before They Were Famous

2. Brad Pitt – Cutting Class (1989)

Two years before he seduced Thelma and really came to the public’s attention, Brad Pitt starred in the 1989 black comedy slasher film Cutting Class as basketball star Dwight Ingalls, boyfriend of female lead Paula (Jill Schoelen, who went on to be Brad's real life fiance for a while). Dwight is a typical high school arrogant jock who gets by on his looks and his status at school from the basketball team.

In the film, Dwight is portrayed as the likely killer, until it is revealed that he was framed by classmate Brian, who had been recently released from a mental institution, and was infatuated with Paula.

There are many better high school horrors of the time such as Prom Night, and Black Christmas, but this is worth a watch not only to see one of Brad's first performances, but also a very creepy Roddy McDowall (Fright Night) as the Principal.

The same year Brad also appeared in an episode of the Nightmare on Elm Street television series Freddy's Nightmares and has since appeared in several horror films over his career, including Interview with the Vampire, Seven and World War Z.
