10 Steps To Perfectly Bring Dr. Doom To The MCU
2. Dispersal Of The Infinity Stones
Once Thanos is defeated, and all is well in the MCU (or whatever happens at the end of Avengers 4), there comes the question of what to do with the six infinity stones. Clearly keeping them together is definitely not an option, and Scarlet Witch may not be capable of destroying all of them. One theory instead states that they will be redistributed once more, while potentially destroying one (likely the Mind Stone, since the Avengers already know how) to keep the snap from ever happening again.
Presumably, Dr. Strange keeps the time stone, while Scarlet Witch takes the Reality Stone in order to increase her own powers (and potentially leading to House of M?). Wakanda guards one, while the Guardians of the Galaxy take another. This leaves one more.
Enter the newly elected leader of Sokovia. Leveraging his country's past tragedies caused by the Avengers, Doom insists that one should be granted to Sokovia to help them heal. Assuming of course that this tactic actually works (and Dr. Strange doesn't attempt to look into the future to see how that would turn out), Dr. Doom will be granted an Infinity Stone for his own personal use. Even with only one in his possession, his power would be worthy of a grand over-arching villain.
