5. Hal Jordan (Green Lantern, 2011)
The Green Lantern movie is proof that it doesn't matter if a film is made in 2011 or not if the CGI used to create half the shots is useless then the movie is just going to look horrible. And to say Ryan Reynolds looks horrible as the Green Lantern is a huge understatement. Everything in this terrible movie is CGI from the suit he wears to the stupid green ring to his dead, lifeless eyes. Yep, that's right even in close up they've use computer graphics to recreate Reynolds eyes and it's about as convincing as something I could throw together using Microsoft Paint. Guys like Captain America may have looked ridiculous back in the seventies because his costume made him look like a pimp but in 2011 the movie industry has all but mastered the technology involved with CGI and they still couldn't make Green Lantern look ... well ... real. Even Hulk looks totally real in The Avengers and there's nothing real about him. We understand using computers to create flight sequences but when your hero is standing in front of the camera try and at least make him look like he hasn't jumped out of a video game.
