10 Superheroes That May Need Recasting (And Who Should Play Them)

8. Flash - Evan Peters

Who's best to replace the younger, more Peter Parker esque Flash of the DCEU movies? The guy that played the young, similarly energetic Quicksilver in Fox's X-Men films, obviously.

Currently, the X-Men movies are dead - until Marvel Studios resurrects them in a more MCU-friendly way, of course. And if this Flash movie we've been hearing about for the last few years ever gets made, then it will need a star that does not represent a complete tonal shift from the actor that was originally supposed to play the protagonist. Evan Peters would fit that bill perfectly.

If DC did want a complete tonal shift though, then there are plenty of options that spring to mind. Tony Leung Chiu-wai or Lakeith Stanfield would both suit a much more detective-centric Flash story - after the Infernal Affairs series and Knives Out, respectively.

And, for someone who would fit the lack of confidence of DCEU Flash while being able to convey a greater sense of experience, Domhnall Gleeson would be a shout.
