10 Superheroes Who Need To Die In Their Next Movie
5. Hawkeye
The Reasoning: So We Can Replace Him With Somebody Else Sure, we should probably wait for The Avengers: Age of Ultron before we start ragging on Hawkeye again, but let's face it - as it stands, he's the most undeveloped and noticeably bland member of the Avengers, something we can blame equally on both Jeremy Renner (who doesn't seem to know what to do with the character) and Joss Whedon (who reduced him to a plot device in The Avengers). So... kill him and replace him with somebody else? It might seem a little premature to suggest that a character is bumped off simply because "they can be," but in the case of Hawkeye, it kind of feels like a legitimate suggestion. The MCU is already starting to feel a little bloated, after all, and Jeremy Renner is far better than this role: his presence would be better appreciated in other movies, where he could actually flex his acting muscles. Right now, he just feels largely inconsequential and super dull.
