The Reasoning: Totally Unexpected Curveball/Opens Up Major Possibilities Here's an off the wall suggestion that has less chance of happening than the Spider-Man one, but that's not to say it wouldn't be an interesting decision, should Warner Bros. have the balls to go through with it. Think about this, then: Superman is pretty much immortal, and as a result he overshadows almost all of the other superheroes set to join him in the upcoming Justice League movie. Sure, you can say "Kryptonite," but that's a little worn, no? But what if, at the end of Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman was - for one reason or another - forced to do away with Superman? Given the title of the movie, wouldn't that be somewhat insane and - as a result - massively exciting? Unlikely as this would be, nobody would have seen it coming (you heard it here first!), and it would help to restore a power balance amongst the other superheroes in DC's upcoming shared universe.
