9. Zatanna
Zatanna is a character who is strongly associated with a number of superhero teams in the DC universe - most prominently the Justice League, which means her appearance on film at some point in the future is extremely plausible. She is a member of the Homo Magi race (DC's name for magically empowered humans) and as such is genetically gifted with great magical talent. She has a vast number of spells at her disposal, which she usually casts by speaking backwards (so, for example, if she wants to put someone to sleep using magic, she would say "peels"). However, the backwards-speaking is not always necessary for her to cast spells. Zatanna has shown great control of her magic ability, has demonstrated control over the elements, such as fire, air, water and plant-life and can use magic to imitate numerous other powers, such as flight, telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, force-fields, size alteration and enhanced physical statistics (strength, durability and speed etc). She wears a very sexy-looking magician's assistant type costume that would go down very well with fanboys if worn by an attractive Hollywood actress.
