10 Supporting Actors Who Totally Stole The Movie

9. Stanley Tucci & Patricia Clarkson - Easy A

Bill Paxton Aliens
Sony Pictures Releasing

Starring Emma Stone as a virtuous high school student, Easy A asks what would happen if a good girl suddenly went bad.

About 90 minutes of awkward teenage comedy, that's what.

Stone's character offers to say she's slept with several of her peers in exchange for money. She gets paid, they get to say they got lucky. It's a win-win!

Like every good high school movie, the main character has some weirdo parents to bounce off. In this film, they're played by Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson and, quite frankly, they're the greatest parents of all time.

They're respectful, interesting, clearly very much in love with each other, and they're really, really funny. Like some of the best scenes in this entire film have these two in them.

That's not how teen movies are supposed to work!

Tucci and Clarkson's incredible chemistry together really elevates this movie beyond your typical school romance fodder. They're used just sparingly enough to add flavour to the main story, but never distract from it.

Petition to get these two together in real life and then have them adopt us all? Please?
