In a scene that would surely make Jules Verne roll over in his grave, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson bounces tropical berries off his giant bouncing pectoral muscles in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. This film loosely based on Verne's book, is a sequel to the 2008 film Journey To The Center Of The Earth, which was one of the early Hollywood films released in the re surged 3D format. This time around we are graced with these berries flying at us in 3D, all courtesy of The Rock's boobies. That scene pretty much sums up the entire thought process involved in putting together Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Journey 2, which was made for only $80 million, most of that spent on the effects and not so much on time for the writers to hammer out a half decent screenplay, grossed over $325 million at the box office, surpassing it's 2008 predecessor. When Hollywood sees green, they go back to the well as many times as they can, and with Jules Verne's bibliography showcasing over 50 novels, there is no doubt another travesty, er, sequel is in the works.
