4. Die Another Day - Bond Surfs (2002)
http://youtu.be/6w6FV8P7HXg It's scenes like this that finally made the minds behind the James Bond films sit back and ask themselves quite what they've been doing to Ian Fleming's enormously popular secret agent. Die Another Day, often regarded as one of the worst - if not the worst - Bond film, took the camp and ridiculousness to new heights with scenes like this, in which Bond (Pierce Brosnan) manages to evade a tidal wave by essentially, well, surfing it. While the backgrounds are expectedly silly, they look masterful compared to the horrible CGI ice that Bond surfs between, and the unconvincing physics of his various leaps and turns. Frankly, it doesn't look any better than the icy locales used in the Ice Age films a few years later, and remember - they're animated films. Brosnan really tries his hardest here to convince us that this is actually happening, but his eventual landing on terra firma, an actual snow set, only makes the previous artificial set-up seem more laughable.
