10 Terrible Horror Movies With ONE Incredible Scene

1. The Banana Boat - Jaws: The Revenge

Michael Caine put it best when he said of Jaws: The Revenge "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built."

The fourth instalment in the shark series - Jaws is not a movie that needed three sequels - this ghastly film is all sorts of bunkum. Badly made, badly acted, badly plotted - if you can think of something bad about a movie, chances are this one did it.

And yes, somehow, in amongst all the nonsense, it managed to briefly recapture the magic of the first movie.

During one scene, the shark targets Thea, granddaughter of Martin Brody, as she's riding a banana boat. Just ignore the fact that shark can now hold grudges and identify individual humans.

In true Spielberg-ian style, the tension in this scene is gripping, as a fin appears in the water, only noticed at first by a few people on land. Then, the shark jumps up and snatches a woman off the inflatable, pulling her to her doom in a pool of blood.

Do yourself a favour - watch this one scene on YouTube and then forget Jaws: The Revenge ever happened.
