6. Bob Hoskins - Super Mario Brothers
Bob Hoskins has had an illustrious film career, starring in great movies such as The Long Good Friday, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Nixon, The Cotton Club and Made in Dagenham. However, to this day he remains ashamed of Super Mario Brothers, which also stars an equally bad Dennis Hopper as King Koopa. Hoskins has a reputation as an icon of British cinema, but this is one movie he desperately wants to forget and he told The Guardian it is the biggest regret of his acting career. Hoskins has appeared in some bad movies in his career, Hook, Outlaw and Maid in Manhattan for example, but none were as bad this video game adaptation. For starters, it was a very strange game to adapt as there is no real story in the game and therefore no basis for a feature-length movie.
Based on the box-office takings, not many people saw the movie and that can only be a blessing for humanity.
