4. Rhino's Weird Scream - Kraven the Hunter
Kraven the Hunter was widely panned for its utterly limp script, mediocre action sequences, and maddening squandering of a top-drawer cast, but it did have one meme-worthy scene of mild relief - Aleksei Sytsevich aka Rhino's (Alessandro Nivola) totally unhinged freakout scene.
After the Russian mercenary is informed that his planned hit on Kraven's (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) father Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe) failed and all of his goons are dead, Aleksei's reaction is to simply let out a strange gurgle-scream sound that's... honestly tough to describe in words.
You're better off just listening to it for yourself.
It's a welcome moment of unhinged, hilarious weirdness in a movie that's otherwise a bland, wall-to-wall borefest. The scene quickly went viral on social media, enough that Alessandro Nivola himself was asked about how the moment came to be.
As it turns out, Nivola actually acted the moment silently on set, performing a "silent scream," before the decision was made to add the visceral gurgle in post.
And thank God, because it's probably the only scene from this movie that anyone's going to remember a year from now.
