9. From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money

From Dusk Til Dawn received mixed reviews when it surfaced in 1996, starting as a road movie of two criminal brothers on the run and ending in a gore-fest with vampires. Not to everyone's taste, but the film is a thrill ride that combines Quentin Tarantino's witty script and Robert Rodriguez's directing prowess. On paper, the sequel could have worked. Both director and writer took on producing roles and with Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead series) in the casting, it should be a great horror flick. However with poor production values, bland script and no entertainment factor, it is a really stinker. What made the first movie so fun was that second half shock (not really a spoiler as you get that from any promotional artwork/the trailer) that vampires get in the mix. The sequel provides no shocks or scares, leaving nothing left to enjoy. There is also a third film and a fourth in discussion, but I was so horrified by the second film, I couldn't face the third.
Why it's in the top 10: Boring. Nothing new brought to the screen and most importantly no George Clooney as a cool killer.
