10 Things Batman Vs Superman Won't Do Better Than The Dark Knight Trilogy

1. Batman

How are you supposed to improve on near perfect? Christian Bale's portrayal of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego is now generally considered to be the best one to have ever graced a cinema screen, and it's hardly difficult to see why. From the Batman suit itself, to Bale's ability to play a carefree billionaire playboy by day and a symbol of justice by night, there's barely a single criticism that can be aimed towards the actor's performance of the hero. Just to make things all the more difficult for Affleck, the Dark Knight trilogy is a series that's still fresh in everybody's minds, and unlike the good, average and just plain awful Batman films that came before Nolan's (looking at you, Batman & Robin), the critically acclaimed trilogy is largely regarded to be the pinnacle of the franchise. It's hard not to feel like Affleck has lost before he's even begun, especially if the internet is to be believed (note: it usually isn't). We hope Snyder and Affleck do a great job of creating a new and different Caped Crusader to Nolan and Bale's and don't just try and merely replicate what came before. As we all know, trying to copy past work doesn't exactly go down well with anyone. All we can say for now is; good luck Zack! What other aspects of Christopher Nolan's films do you think Batman V Superman has no hope of besting, and are there any entries here that you just flat out disagree with?
