8. The Combined Gross Of All The Movies In The MCU Is $7.1 Billion Dollars

Just over $7 billion dollars. That's how much the movies in the MCU canon have made when you count up all those box office receipts and add 'em together. Granted, in the beginning, there were those who said that the MCU was a bad idea - that it was too ambitious, and that it wouldn't translate well to the cinematic medium. To those people, Marvel would presumably like to say: "Um, $7.1 BILLION DOLLARS, B*TCHES!" As you might easily surmise, the highest-grossing movie of the bunch is The Avengers, which pulled in an insane $1.5 billion dollars, with Iron Man 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy ranking in second and third place with impressive takings of $1.2 billion dollars and $765 million respectively. Unsurprisingly, The Incredible Hulk is the least grossing MCU flick with just $236 million dollars. As the weakest flick, this makes sense.
