10 Things We Expect To Happen In The DC Cinematic Universe
7. The Justice League Forms
It's the money shot that you can practically already see: the Justice League stands together, united for the first time against evil, arms crossed, chests puffed, brows furrowed, all exuding a general air of "people are about to get punched". Differences will have to be reconciled first, but that moment of standing together will mark the point of no return, and the first time the Justice League have been assembled on the silver screen. The founding members of the Justice League vary depending on the comic you're referencing, but the roles will likely be ascribed to DC's Big Three, with Batman being more hesitant than Superman and Wonder Woman (you know, because he's moody and doesn't play well with others). The lineup itself varies, too, and those three are really the only surefire team members as of now. Leaguers like Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Atom and Green Arrow will probably make it in there someday, but there's no telling when. The other big question is if this formation will occur in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, which is shaping up to be a pseudo-Justice League flick anyway. The sequel is still untitled, and DC could conceivably jump the gun on the Marvel formula and place the Justice League team-up before the solo outings for the other members. For now, the only thing for certain is that the big reveal of the team standing together will probably be spoiled in the trailer.
