6. Superman/Wonder Woman Romance

It's worth noting that the fledgeling DC Cinematic Universe and the highly-successful Marvel Cinematic Universe have something significant in common: they are both also a part of the vast machine that is the Hollywood Cinematic Universe. A major implication of this is that the sheer scale of the world in which these superheroes exist is larger than it has ever been. What once was a monthly issue-by-issue story for comic book fans is now an epic saga for millions, and while the plots themselves may stay true to the comic book origin there are certainly moments where the influence of Hollywood is apparent. The most obvious of these, of course, is the inevitable romance. It seems that a man and a woman (or, in this case, a superhero and a superheroine) simply cannot exist in the same film or TV show without falling in love - it's happened to every crook and cop ever (see Entrapment, Thomas Crown Affair, Out of Sight, etc.), Dexter and Deb, Mulder and Scully. It may currently be happening now in the MCU, with something going on between Black Widow and Hawkeye, or Black Widow and Captain America. And so a relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman seems like an inevitability. They're both metahumans with similar powers, so hey, why not? It may take a few films to get there, but they'll get there. Amy Adams's Lois Lane, who was severely underused in Man of Steel, needs a more significant role in the sequels without seeming shoehorned into the story.
