10 Things Hollywood Could Learn From The Adult Movie Industry

6. Stars Who Communicate With The Masses

Assuming that Robert Downey Jr really was paid $75 million between 2013 and 2014, this means that, at a time when porn stars are becoming more and more visible on social media, Hollywood’s A-listers are getting further and further away from their fans.

Downey Jr maintains the usual profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc, but it’s difficult to imagine him reading and responding to his own messages. Like everyone else in Hollywood, he probably has an army of undocumented Mexicans who take care of that sort of thing.

Far more approachable is Jessica Drake who, when not beginning the day with a perky “morning y’all” on Twitter, is retweeting photos of fans at conventions. It’s this kind of interaction that makes us long for the day when Ms Drake replaces Gwyneth Paltrow in the Iron Man movies.
