2. Be Unique
Having said that Marvels movies are currently superior to DC, this does not mean that DC need to completely emulate Marvels formula. There should certainly be some overlap - both concepts are virtually identical with a shared comic book universe and pseudoscientific explanations for the emergence of superheroes and masked crusaders. DC already have their darker tone and somewhat more grounded ideas within their universe, so it looks like the DC films will be somewhat unique in comparison to their competitor. Judging from Man Of Steel and the Batman V Superman rumours, DCs film schedule looks pretty action packed - Cyborg, Aquaman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman are not looking like they will break this trend. The people in charge of DC understand that they need to be individual in order to succeed, so whatever happens the DC Cinematic Universe will be groundbreaking and innovative.
