10 Things That Will Piss Fans Off About Star Wars: The Force Awakens

6. There's No Reunion Between The Original Cast

When Episode VII was announced speculation was rife about the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Ford seemed in doubt because he never had much fondness for the series (a mild understatement), but there was rejoicing in the streets when even he signed on to return. The stage was set for the original cast to be reunited after thirty years away; sadly, that doesn€™t come to pass. Just watching the film it gradually becomes clear it isn€™t going to happen, since the story is about the search for Luke Skywalker and he€™s not going to just appear out of nowhere. Any lingering hope that it might happen is squashed right around the time Kylo Ren plunges his lightsaber into Han Solo, which is heartbreaking because of the character€™s death, but also the fact Ford, Hamill and Fisher will never be reunited onscreen. Fans will just have to look forward to a reunion between Luke, Leia and Chewbacca instead.
