10 Things That Will Piss Fans Off About Star Wars: The Force Awakens

3. No More Harrison Ford

OK, so Han Solo's death isn't a total shock; Harrison Ford has been pushing for the character to be killed since Return Of The Jedi. But the disappointing thing about it is that Ford is so good €“ and having so much fun in the role €“ that fans are going to be heartbroken this will be his last time playing the character. Ford has had a tendency to sleepwalk through his recent movies (see The Expendables 3, Ender€™s Game) so to see him so alive onscreen again is wonderful. This is the Harrison Ford people fell in love with, not the grumpy old geezer he€™s been portraying for the last decade or so. It helps that Han gets a great arc in The Force Awakens; he's essentially back where he started and he's lost his wife and son, so when he gets a chance to redeem himself he doesn't hesitate. His death at the hands of Kylo Ren is both the best scene in the movie and a fitting end for the character. It€™s just a real shame this is the last time we'll be seeing him.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
