10 Things That Will Piss Fans Off About Star Wars: The Force Awakens
3. No More Harrison Ford
OK, so Han Solo's death isn't a total shock; Harrison Ford has been pushing for the character to be killed since Return Of The Jedi. But the disappointing thing about it is that Ford is so good and having so much fun in the role that fans are going to be heartbroken this will be his last time playing the character. Ford has had a tendency to sleepwalk through his recent movies (see The Expendables 3, Enders Game) so to see him so alive onscreen again is wonderful. This is the Harrison Ford people fell in love with, not the grumpy old geezer hes been portraying for the last decade or so. It helps that Han gets a great arc in The Force Awakens; he's essentially back where he started and he's lost his wife and son, so when he gets a chance to redeem himself he doesn't hesitate. His death at the hands of Kylo Ren is both the best scene in the movie and a fitting end for the character. Its just a real shame this is the last time we'll be seeing him.
