2. What Is Peter Holding?
One of the trailer's biggest mysteries is contained within one of its coolest images, when Doctor Strange pushes Peter's astral form out of his body.
But Spidey is holding a strange box-like device that's never been seen in the MCU before, causing fans to speculate on what exactly it might be.
Many have noted that it looks similar to DC's Mother Boxes, and though it certainly isn't that for obvious reasons, one has to wonder whether this is a magic MacGuffin or something far more integral to the plot.
Anyone who's read the extremely credible plot leaks doing the rounds online - which this trailer only backed up - can probably take a pretty good guess at what the box is, but we won't know for sure until at least the next trailer drops, if not December 17th itself.
