3. One Fan Made A Jar Jar Death Scene

In 2011, one enterprising fan decided to take matters into their own hands and give Jar Jar the "death" he deserved, by cleverly editing a deleted scene from the home video release of The Phantom Menace.

The original sequence shows Jar Jar, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan escaping from their sub a mere moment before it tumbles over a waterfall, but the new scene smartly cuts around Jar Jar's presence to imply that he fails to escape and falls to his brutal death as the sub smashes against a rock below.

It's hilarious and enormously satisfying to watch (especially those blood-curdling Gungan screams), but it really says something about how badly George Lucas screwed the character up that fans have actively called for and applauded his death.
