10 Things You Didn't Know About Scarlett Johansson

8. She REALLY Wanted That Black Widow Role

Having turned down the possibility of a role in another comic book movie four years earlier - Lois Lane in 2006's Superman Returns - Scarlett Johansson couldn't have been more keen to win the the role of Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff in 2010's Iron Man 2. Johansson actually turned up to her audition with her hair dyed red, seeing herself as the perfect actress to portray the formidable (and somewhat evil) Russian spy turned heroic espionage agent. Emily Blunt actually won the role initially but, due to her conflicting schedule, was forced to drop out and the rest is history. It's really hard to imagine anyone else apart from Johansson in that skin tight body suit and she has now played the character in three movies (Iron Man 2, The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier) with another coming this year (Avengers: Age of Ultron).
