10 Things You Need To Know About Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn

4. Deadshot Might Be Her New Love Interest

In "The New 52" rebooted DC Comics Universe, the Suicide Squad comics have made it clear that Harley is attracted to Deadshot (mostly because him being in control reminds her of The Joker). Based on photos from the Toronto set of Will Smith and Margot Robbie, it appears as if the movie could be following a similar path for the two characters. Those saw Harley Quinn remove the "Puddin" necklace from around her neck, seemingly disassociating herself from The Joker once and for all. What followed was Deadshot carrying her away from the action as she looked up lovingly at her fellow Task Force X teammate. It seems this will be a significant moment in Suicide Squad, and it makes sense that Warner Bros. might try to recapture the chemistry between Smith and Robbie after they impressed critics in the otherwise mostly disappointing Focus. How much romance will actually make it into Suicide Squad remains to be seen, but this is no doubt going to upset The Joker. Would the studio dare to have him take out Deadshot? It would certainly be a shocking moment.
