2. Brenton Thwaites Could Be Playing Will's Son

Young actor Brenton Thwaites, known to audiences as the lead in last year's The Giver, has been cast in Pirates 5 as a soldier named Henry, but that is all known officially about the character so far. Thwaites has spoken out about his role to the press, however, saying that the plot of Dead Men Tell No Tales centers around Davy Jones' son trying to reconnect with his father. If you combine this knowledge of the plot with Orlando Bloom's comments about his possible return (and with the post-credits of At World's End confirming Will does in fact have a son) it seems very likely that Thwaites is going to be that son in question. Although Thwaites did not come out and say that he is playing Will's son, his comments about the plot seem to indicate he knows a lot about that specific role. Perhaps he enlists Sparrow's help given his experience with the previous Davy Jones, Will, and the Locker? Or perhaps he's more of a rogue agent. Either way, look for Thwaites to play a key role in the film, whether he's Will's son or not.
