10 Things You Need To Know About Pirates Of The Caribbean 5

5. The Title Comes From The Ride

Dead Men Tell No Tales is an intriguing title, mainly because it's the only title taken directly from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The Curse Of The Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, and At World's End were all original name and On Stranger Tides is taken from a book by Tim Powers, so a nod to the series' source is refreshing. At the beginning of the ride, visitors are taken through "Pirate's Cove," an area that replaced "Blue Bayou" when the characters of Captains Jack and Barbossa were added amongst the animatronic figures. As the riders look around, they hear a haunting voice saying, "Dead men tell no tales," giving the ride an ominous feel before the proper attraction starts. While past films have taken inspiration from the ride, like the dog bone scene in The Curse Of The Black Pearl, it's only ever been fleeting - could the fifth movie incorporate more elements into its plot?
