10 Things You Won't See In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

8. Thanos Can Wait

On the subject of characters too big to pay lip service to, they don’t come much bigger than Thanos. What with tempers already flaring in Avengers HQ, Baron Strucker and Ulysses Klaw in the mix and a formidable adversary in the megalomaniacal Ultron, it’s hard to make a plausible argument for the Mad Titan being an extra ingredient in a movie already running the risk of being over-seasoned.

Thanos made his first smirking appearance at the end of the first Avengers film and was an integral part of Guardians Of The Galaxy’s space shenanigans last year, and his time will come soon enough. He will no doubt play a big part in the mouthwatering Infinity Wars double helping and the Avatar of Death could very well pop up some time between now and the May 2018 release of Infinity War – Part I, but Age Of Ultron is a long shot at best.

As Kevin Feige attests, when you’re an oversized supervillain you basically do as you please:

“I think Thanos kind of does what he wants, shows up where he wants to. And I'm not going to tell him otherwise, so you don't know exactly.”

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
