10 Thoughts Every Guy Had While Watching Fifty Shades Freed

9. "This Car Chase Is Reasonably Entertaining"

Absolutely anything that distracts from the cringey and unconvincing nature of the relationship between Christian and Ana is a welcome treat, and fortunately, Fifty Shades Freed is the most action-heavy movie in the entire trilogy.

Admittedly, the movie's early car chase is directed in as uninspired a fashion as the rest of the film is, but still, it's mildly entertaining watching that slick Audi R8 speed down country roads and whip round corners.

If nothing else, it's better than sitting through another awful dialogue scene, boring sex montage or lazy plot development.

Unfortunately, this scene is over all too soon, and afterwards - just because the movie needs to keep all those thirsty middle-aged wives entertained - Christian and Ana randomly do it in the front seat, the latter finishing in about five seconds flat.

Unless Christian's genitals can vibrate, that ain't happening.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show.
