10 Times MCU Movies Missed Out Key Plot Points
5. Lady Sif's Love For The Odinson - Thor
For some fans, Jamie Alexander's casting as Lady Sif was a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, throughout the Thor franchise, she has mostly been under-utilised. The same can be said for the Warriors Three who have been relegated to popping up every so often for comic relief during battles. To further fans dismay, Thor: Ragnarok went one step further, killing the warriors very early in the film with little fanfare and Sif being completely absent throughout.
Lady Sif in the comics is sister to Heimdall, born with blonde hair as most Asgardians. Her current look is due to a run in with Loki, who cut her hair and replaced it with enchanted, dwarven made hair. Known for being the strongest female warrior in Asgard, Sif accompanied Thor in many battles, but the largest battle has always been in her own heart.
Having established romantic feelings for the God of Thunder from an early age, she was forced to try and understand why her love was infatuated with a human woman instead. She eventually moved past this and helped save Jane Foster's life by merging her life force with the dying mortal.
Despite aiding the Odinson in reclaiming his lady love, Sif never really moved on from her feelings and her partner's since have included Beta Ray Bill and Eric Masterson, a mortal with the ability to wield the power of Thor.
