You just can't keep a good Kaiju down, can you? The much-loved monster that came from the land of the rising sun has been a mainstay in popular culture in both the East and the West ever since their first appearance in 1954.

Of course, not all of those appearances were good. In fact, some of them were downright awful. Despite 1998's Godzilla by Roland Emmerich being amongst that rabble, it somehow spawned a sequel in the form of an animated series, and surprise surprise, it was actually good.

Godzilla: The Series ran for a full two seasons between 1998 and 2000 on Fox Kids, earning better plaudits than its live-action movie counterpart. Heck, it even got a couple of fun little games on the Gameboy Colour as a result.

One look back at the voice cast and you'll notice vocal powerhouse Frank Welker did the vocal effects for Godzilla, and a few big names popped up along the way, like Ron Perlman, Joe Pantoliano, and even Linda Blair.
