8. Bruce Going Bankrupt Makes No Sense
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHrRziIAk9Q Firstly you have to accept the notion that Gotham City has a stock market, but then what's really glossed over is the fact that someone can break into the stock exchange and brazenly steal someone's funds with countless witnesses without repurcussions. Though Bane makes a very clear point that the fiber-optic line to the exchange has been cut, that wouldn't stop the external authorities from freezing the trading floor the second the siege began; this is a basic redundancy in the stock market and not exactly a difficult one to execute. In the film, Bane easily makes off with Bruce's money, leaving him bankrupt, and even more ridiculously, his power is shut off mere hours later when he shacks up with Talia a-er, Miranda Tate. I mean, I get that it's for dramatic effect, but Bruce wouldn't have even had time to pay the bill yet, unless one of his staffers had it shut off or something (that must be a deleted scene). A minor quibble in the grand scheme of things perhaps, but a noticeable one nonetheless.
