10 Unbelievable Sports Stories Hollywood Should Turn Into Movies
8. Major League Baseball Players Are Afraid Of Ghosts In Milwaukee Hotel
Pitch: Ghostbusters meets Angels In The Outfield When visiting Major League Baseball teams play the Milwaukee Brewers, most stay in Milwaukee's Pfister Hotel. It's historic, classy, and, according to many players, haunted by the ghost of Charles Pfister, who was the hotel's original owner. The old hotels architecture and decor already have a haunted house vibe, but visiting ballplayers have told tales of moving furniture, creepy footsteps, electronics that turned on by themselves, and strange apparitions. In 2010, San Francisco Giants players Edgar Renteria and Pablo Sandoval actually refused to stay in the hotel and stayed at a different place down the block because of their strange experiences at the hotel. Unlike other examples on this list, this movie would probably be best if filmmakers went all-out with it. Imagine a baseball team being assisted or cursed by a troupe of ghosts whenever they played in Milwaukee. Or perhaps a Milwaukee player makes a deal with the ghosts to keep opponents up all night? The possibilities are endless.
