What's It About? We probably don't need to explain this one, but here goes anyway.

Cockneys vs Zombies finds a gang of bank robbers and the residents of a retirement home fighting their way through hordes of the undead, after two builders unwittingly unleash a centuries-old zombie infection.

Why You Should Watch It: You'll probably know whether or not you'll enjoy Cockneys vs Zombies based on it's rather literal title alone.

It does exactly what it says on the tin, so if you find that concept cool, interesting or funny, it'll deliver exactly what you're expecting.

That is, if you're expecting a gang of tough-as-nails Londoners fighting their way through the zombie-infested city, complete with a dose of obligatory, blunt Southern humour - including the likes of "you soppy tart", "you're about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike", and perhaps best of all, "no ticket", after a lone zombie is shot attempting to board a bus our protagonists have commandeered.

It won't linger long in the brain, but it's an unorthodox alternative to all the traditional, uber-serious zombie fare.

Cockneys vs Zombies is fully aware of how ridiculous it is and it embraces that fully, allowing you to laugh along with the movie instead of laughing at it.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
