10 Upcoming Blockbusters You Totally Forgot Were Coming In 2016

2. Inferno

The Da Vinci Code was a mega hit, despite feeling like a PowerPoint lecture on religion masquerading as a thriller. Angels & Demons was also a huge hit despite being even more ridiculous, so the further adventures of Robert Langdon were downright inevitable. Tom Hanks returns €“ this time with a sensible haircut €“ as Langdon, who wakes up in Italy with no memory of the last week, and being hunted by sinister forces; so he either has a terrible hangover, or there€™s another mystery that needs solving. If that€™s the case, it will probably mean another trip to the nearest library. Inferno is shaping up to be more of the same as the previous movies, with Hanks€™ bookish Indiana Jones following a trail of intricate clues and stopping the plot every ten minutes to explain what the hell is going on. The power of Hanks and Dan Brown will probably ensure a tidy profit, but excitement for the series has cooled significantly since the last entry.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
