10 Upcoming Blockbusters You Totally Forgot Were Coming In 2016
2. Inferno
The Da Vinci Code was a mega hit, despite feeling like a PowerPoint lecture on religion masquerading as a thriller. Angels & Demons was also a huge hit despite being even more ridiculous, so the further adventures of Robert Langdon were downright inevitable. Tom Hanks returns this time with a sensible haircut as Langdon, who wakes up in Italy with no memory of the last week, and being hunted by sinister forces; so he either has a terrible hangover, or theres another mystery that needs solving. If thats the case, it will probably mean another trip to the nearest library. Inferno is shaping up to be more of the same as the previous movies, with Hanks bookish Indiana Jones following a trail of intricate clues and stopping the plot every ten minutes to explain what the hell is going on. The power of Hanks and Dan Brown will probably ensure a tidy profit, but excitement for the series has cooled significantly since the last entry.
