10 Upcoming Movie Adaptations That Prove There Is No God

1. Tomb Raider

You know you're going to be in for a treat when one of the most appalling adaptations of a video game gets the reboot/origins movie treatment all over again - add Marti Noxon of Buffy the Vampire writing "fame" into the mix and the treat is guaranteed to leave a bitter aftertaste well after the credits have rolled. MGM and GK Films are heading up the production of this latest utterly pointless return to a video game franchise which is clearly well past its sell-by date, promising a "character-driven" movie featuring a younger Lara Croft. Great news for fans of the series, since of course Croft was most memorable for her rich and detailed backstory and engaging personality (just in case sarcasm doesn't come across too well in print, that was sarcasm). With Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby of Iron Man fame working on the script it may stand a chance of avoiding the unmitigated disaster of the original adaptations starring Angelina Jolie, but we're willing to bet that the odds of this are pretty slim at best.
