10 Upcoming Movie Performances Doomed To Fail

1. Harry Styles - Marvel Cinematic Universe

Following on from one of the most divisive MCU outings to date, it only seemed appropriate for Eternals to deliver yet another sequence that would split opinion out of the gates in the form of Harry Styles rocking up in ChloƩ Zhao's Phase 4 flick's post credits scene.

From the get-go many fans were left pulling out their hair at the announcement of the former One Direction star being cast as Thanos' brother Eros, a.k.a. Starfox, with the music megastar being said to have signed a lucrative five-film deal. But his supporters understandably pointed to a respectable showing in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk as evidence of some acting potential definitely being present in the British singing sensation.

However, shuffling into the background of a battlefield and bringing to life one of the most problematic figures in Marvel Comics history are two very different challenges entirely. And gifting a role as potentially complex and sensitive as Eros, a being known for being able to control people's own emotions, to a relatively inexperienced performer is reason enough for many to doubt whether Styles is actually up to this particular MCU task.
