10 Upcoming Movie Sequels We Can't Wait To See
1. The Batman 2

Though there have been exceptions, DC Comics' live-action movie output has been going through a tough time over the last two decades. The DC Extended Universe was, without mincing words, a mess from start to finish, and James Gunn has one hell of a job trying to correct the course with his new DCU.
However, in the midst of said mess, DC released outside the confines of the DCEU one of the best superhero movies in years, The Batman. It was dark and gritty, portrayed both Batman and Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) in outstanding fashion, and boasted more than one impressive villain that gave a young and vulnerable Dark Knight almost more than he could handle.
A sequel was always going to happen, and was always going to be highly anticipated. Even more so now that Matt Reeves' Batman universe has been added to with The Penguin. This makes two home runs from two so far, and not only did the show tease a deeper story surrounding Bruce Wayne and Colin Farrell's Oz Cobb, the idea of bringing Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz) together with Sofia Gigante (Cristin Milioti) is inspired.
The other big DC success in recent years was of course Joker, which truly fumbled its sequel in almost impressive style, but it's hard to see The Batman 2 going down this same route.
