10 Upcoming Movies That Already Have Your Money

9. Hobbs And Shaw

Deckard Shaw Vs Luke Hobbs Fate Furious
Universal Pictures

On the opposite end of the budget spectrum, Hobbs and Shaw - spinoff from the main Fast and Furious series - will be aiming to deliver all the explosive thrills and dynamic chases that its big brothers do so well, while also shedding a lot of the fat and focusing purely on two of the series' best characters.

The Fate Of The Furious was definitely fun, but it was also a little muddled, and devolved into cheesy soap-opera drama at times. The best thing in the movie was the bromance between The Rock's Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, and the fact that this has been given its own movie is damn good news for everyone.

With John Wick's David Leitch at the helm, the hand-to-hand combat will be at a series best, and because it doesn't have to fulfil any obligations in terms of furthering the story of the main movies, Hobbs and Shaw will have the freedom (and the money) to do pretty much anything it wants.

The Rock and Statham will deliver the laughs and solid banter, and Leitch will deliver the phenomenal action. With a bucket of popcorn in hand, what more could you want from an entertaining night at the movies?
