10 Upcoming Movies That Will Fail If They Don’t Do THIS

4. Make Kang And MODOK Feel HUGE - Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania

Marvel Studios

This year's San Diego Comic-Con brought with it more MCU content than any mortal Marvel fan could comfortably digest in one sitting. But perhaps the most jaw-dropping Marvel Studios occurrence to go down in Hall H was none other than the first glimpse at Scott Lang and the gang's return to the super-stage for next year's Quantumania.

And with that re-emergence also comes with it the arrival of Jonathan Majors' mesmerising Kang the Conqueror, last seen in his other variant form as Loki's He Who Remains.

It goes without saying that sticking the landing of the MCU's supposed next dominant big bad here is about as vital to the success of the next few Phases as it gets, with a stuttering showing for Majors' Avenger-killing figure likely leaving the studio with an up-hill battle in the lead-up to the also announced Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

If that wasn't pressure enough for Peyton Reed's third Ant-flick, Quantumania will also see the entrance of much-loved Marvel villain MODOK to the MCU, too! And if the already frustrated online reaction to a piece of fan art based on the Comic-Con footage reel's version of the antagonist is anything to go by, Marvel could be in for a tough ride indeed should they fail to deliver on this one-two punch of villainous debuts.
