10 Urban Legends That Should Be Horror Films

8. Robert The Doll

What's the Legend? Robert is a creepy-ass doll in sailor's clothes which was gifted to a little boy by his Bahamian maid at the turn of last Century. Soon after, strange occurrences would happen throughout the home; your run-of-the-mill broken furniture and silverware strewn about the floor. The boy blamed Robert. Soon the boy and his doll were inseparable, with Robert even having a seat at the dinner table. His parents would hear him having conversations with the doll in his room, putting on two different voices... or so they assumed. One day his mother came into his room and found her son cowering in the corner as Robert sat on the bed, glowering at him. Freaky stuff, right? Not to worry. After first the parents and then the boy grew old and died, the doll found its way into a local Florida museum where he sits on display to this day. What's the Movie? Like Annabelle, but better. The early 20th Century period setting could really help as horror films set during the early 1900s are fairly creepy anyway.
