Adapting Scott Snyder€™s acclaimed New 52 story as Batman€™s solo feature just makes way too much sense. It€™s an easy starting point, it showcases Bruce Wayne and Gotham City, but most importantly, it sports and unforgettable new villain. Having ruled the city in secret for centuries, this cabal of Gotham€™s elite is brought into the limelight when Bruce Wayne starts attempting to modernize the city and inadvertently threatens their influence. Using their undead supersoldier Talon to physically deal with their enemies, the Court Of Owls is a faceless mob, one that Batman cannot find and much less fight. The Court Of Owls are downright terrifying and the idea that anyone could be a member creates a huge sense of paranoia. They force Batman to use his detective skills, his social life and his physicality to combat them and their vast resources put him at a disadvantage the whole time. They€™re the whole package that no singular villain, including the Joker, can match. Their inclusion in Affleck€™s universe seems like a must and would give viewers a type of Batman villain unlike any they'd ever seen.
