As threatening as some of Batman€™s foes are, there€™s few that can actually challenge him in a physical fight. In the case of the Joker, this means typically avoiding fights and only challenging him physically when he has some kind of leverage. Prometheus is one of the few villains who can stand toe-to-toe with Batman, and would provide the physical threat that so many could not. Born to a troubled childhood, Prometheus grew up like Bruce Wayne, traveling the globe and training his body to perfection, albeit to pursue the destruction of justice instead of a means to stop criminals. Like Batman, this master planner also sports an armoured suit, but his is far more advanced. Like Neo in The Matrix, Prometheus is able to download skills right into his brain, allowing him to be a near unstoppable force up close. Prometheus is a great villain but he won€™t work for every story. If Affleck wants to keep things grounded and make a crime thriller, there are better options available, but if he wants to embrace the more fantastical side of things, Prometheus could fit the bill.
